It means to give proper respect to somebody , to acknowledge somebody .  to give credit to somebody. 

A: I really love your newsletter.

B: It's great, isn't it?

A: Yes! It's looks good. It's easy to read. It's perfect!

B: I gotta give props to Parmy! He did it all!

A: 너 소식지 진짜 좋아.

B: 멋지지. 그렇지않아?
