to catch up 따라잡다
Usually we say to catch up with someone. I’ll catch up later. He caught up.
If you catch up with someone who is in front of you, you reach them by walking faster than they are walking. Also it means to reach same standard, stage, or level that they have reached.
A: What else we need?
B: Ketchup. You go down that aisle. I’ll catch up with you in a minute.
A: But I don’t know what kind of ketchup to buy.
B: Organic! Duh~~
A: 뭐가 더 필요해?
